Are you looking to kick-start your career in plumbing? Pro Tech Mechanical is excited to invite a motivated Apprentice Commercial Plumber to join our growing team! You’ll have the opportunity to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. If you’re dependable, eager to learn, and interested in a long-term career in the mechanical trades, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist licensed plumbers with installation of commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, and vent piping
● Support installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, floor drains, and specialty equipment
● Help with layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling pipe (PVC, copper, cast iron, etc.)
● Maintain tools, materials, and job site cleanliness
● Follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions from supervisors
● Adhere to all safety standards and company policies
● Assist in pressure testing, inspections, and system start-ups
● Work alongside other trades on large commercial/industrial job sites

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED preferred
● TX Apprentice Plumbing card
● Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
● Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
● Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
● Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
● Valid driver’s license in good standing

Preferred Experience:
● Previous construction or plumbing experience
● Familiarity with commercial job sites
● Exposure to mechanical, HVAC, or MEP environments

● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
