Responsibilities:
● Mount devices and field interface panels
● Install EMT and Rigid conduit
● Determine cable and wire requirements for conduit pulls
● Mount high voltage AC/DC power for inverters
● Install high-voltage disconnects and solar panels
● Calculate cable/wire pulls to ensure proper conduit fill
● Identify all cables and maintain documented as-builts
● Pull cables and wiring
● Collaborate with Project Manager and team for timely project completion
● Terminate wiring using design drawings
● Maintain daily reports for the Foreman/Project Manager
● Assist in commissioning and startup processes
● Follow safety requirements and attend safety meetings
● Participate in out-of-state and overnight travel
● Conduct daily cleanup of work areas
Qualifications:
● High School diploma or equivalent experience
● 5+ years in a commercial or industrial environment
● Electrician Journeyman license required
● Skilled in bending, treading, and installing rigid conduit
● Knowledgeable of building codes, regulations, and ordinances
● Ability to read and interpret plans and schematics
● Experience in project estimation for electrical labor and materials
● Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
● Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
● Valid driver’s license in good standing
● Willingness to travel out-of-state and overnight
Compensation:
● $56.95 per hour, determined by collective bargaining agreement and test results
● Benefits provided through the local labor union
