Responsibilities:
● Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
● Inspect machines, engines, and transmissions; run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
● Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
● Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
● Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
● Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
● Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
● Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventive measures to machine users.
● Undertake other duties as assigned (repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles, etc.).
● Keep logs of work or use maintenance systems to report issues.
Qualifications:
● 2+ years of working mechanic experience.
● Possess a toolbox and basic hand tools.
● Ability to perform standard chassis PM services (fluid and filter changes, and grease components).
● Knowledge of basic inspections and repairs.
● Valid driver’s license preferred.
● Experience with heavy equipment preferred.
● Willingness to learn and have a positive attitude.
● Consistent attendance is a must.
● Ability to work safely and use required PPE.
● Capable of working in a fast-paced and flexible schedule environment, including occasional overtime.
● Active, physical work involving lifting up to 50 lbs and various physical activities.
