Responsibilities:
● Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on project cost control and forecasting.
● Actively participate in the BIM coordination process for all MEP systems.
● Manage field queries through timely creation and resolution of RFIs.
● Oversee all phases of plumbing and mechanical installation, from rough-in to final commissioning.
● Directly manage plumbing and HVAC subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project success.
● Conduct quality inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes.
● Lead final turnover stages, including startup and testing of all HVAC systems.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 7 years experience in Plumbing &/or HVAC Systems.
● Journeyman in Plumbing or HVAC license preferred.
● Current OSHA 30-Hour Certification is mandatory.
● Strong knowledge of D.C. Construction Codes and international plumbing and mechanical standards.
● Demonstrated experience as a former Journeyman or Master Plumber/HVAC Technician.
● Familiarity with construction management software and visualization tools.
● Experience in data center, high-rise mixed-use, or institutional construction is a plus.
