The Division of Plumbing is responsible for conducting plumbing inspections and permitting plumbing installations to ensure compliance with the state plumbing code and regulations. We are seeking a Plumbing Inspector I to join our team!
Responsibilities:
● Inspect all plumbing installations and report violation findings.
● Perform preliminary reviews of local plans concerning plumbing and sanitation.
● Maintain files, reports, and permits.
● Issue permits electronically and process payments.
● Monitor licensee statuses and water heater device reporting.
Qualifications:
● Must have eight years of experience as a journeyman or master plumber.
● Must hold a valid journeyman or master plumber license in Kentucky at the time of employment.
● Proficient communication skills.
● Possess sufficient technical knowledge of Kentucky State Plumbing Law, Regulations, and Code.
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
● Conduct effective research.
● Demonstrates attention to detail.
● High level of customer service.
