Responsibilities:
● Train front-line employees to ensure optimal performance.
● Organize and oversee the schedules and work of team members.
● Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
● Handle employee discipline in line with company policies.
● Collaborate with managers to coordinate activities across departments.
● Collect and analyze production data for continuous improvement.
● Regularly inspect products for quality and defects.
● Identify and correct process deficiencies.
● Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
● Develop safety procedures and work strategies.
● Collaborate on budget development with other managers.
● Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Well-rounded knowledge of residential plumbing operations.
● Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
● Proficient in using desktop, laptop, and tablet devices.
● Strong knowledge of plumbing codes.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
● Thorough understanding of safety and health laws and regulations.
● Knowledge of production processes and quality control techniques.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
● Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
● At least three years of supervisory experience preferred.
● Experience in customer service, particularly in handling escalated issues with customers and builders.
Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods of standing, driving, and walking.
● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
● Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
● Visual acuity to inspect plumbing systems and installations.
● Willingness to work in various weather conditions in the field.
