Responsibilities:
● Report to customers’ homes on time with knowledge of the work to be done.
● Educate customers on system use, maintenance tips, and damage prevention strategies.
● Provide insights and professional suggestions for optimizing system function.
● Install and remove water heaters.
● Utilize various tools, including electrical hand-tools, saws, drills, brazing equipment, drain machines, and propress.
● Determine service requirements using technical skills and experience in system operations and preventive maintenance.
● Complete work while maintaining safe working conditions and personal safety.
● Supervise and mentor Apprentice Plumbers as needed.
● Document outcomes of every work order in detail.
● Perform all other duties as assigned.
Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications:
● Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
● Great mechanical aptitude.
● Strong ability to read and understand technical instructions.
● Good written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong knowledge of equipment, tools, and methods commonly applied in plumbing services.
● Knowledge of code requirements and safety practices for plumbing work.
● Ability to accurately diagnose issues.
● Excellent ability to explain technical information to clients.
● Computer knowledge and ability to use software tools for plumbing duties, including timekeeping, customer billing, and credit card payments.
