Responsibilities:
● Assisting with cutting, bending, assembling, and installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures for various plumbing systems
● Helping to repair and install new water and drainage lines, waste, and sewage pipes
● Assisting with threading, reaming, assembling, caulking, soldering, and welding pipes and components
● Aiding in the installation, alteration, repair, or replacement of plumbing fixtures
● Performing all plumbing work in line with code and company standards
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Valid MT driver’s license, or ability to acquire within 3 months
● Introductory knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and practices
● Preferred: 1 to 3 years of plumbing labor experience
● Preferred: Own standard tools of the trade
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Ability to read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics
● Knowledge of International Plumbing Code and International Mechanical Code
● Skills in using hand and power tools common in plumbing
● A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a strong sense of accountability
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
● The ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and make decisions quickly
● Critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex tasks
Physical Requirements:
● Move, use hands to operate tools, and reach with arms
● Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
● Frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally over 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
● The position works in various physical environments depending on the job location and weather conditions
● May require travel to multiple Energy 1 sites regularly
● This position may involve overtime and weekend work as needed
