Key Responsibilities:
● Work alongside licensed plumber/supervisor daily to complete projects quickly and efficiently
● Help diagnose problems and failures in plumbing systems
● Cut and assemble pipes, and clean water supply and disposal systems
● Assist with installation, repairs, and maintenance of chilled water, steam, heat, water, gas, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems
● Test for leaks in new and repair systems using compressed air and water to ensure functionality and safety
● Follow safety guidelines set by the company and supervisor
● Operate plumbing equipment and hand tools like reamers, threading discs, sewer tapes, pipe cutters, snakes, etc.
● Inspect joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, and other plumbing system components with plumbers to locate issues for repair or replacement
● Perform preventative maintenance work as required

Qualifications:
● One year of verifiable field experience as a Plumber’s Helper
● Own the necessary tools
● Ability to understand plans and specifications
● Understand both written and verbal instructions
● Work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
● Show strong attendance, reliability, dependability, and flexibility
● Possess strong communication skills
