Responsibilities:
● Responding to service calls and requests related to plumbing operations, repairs, maintenance, and installation.
● Ensuring work meets high-quality standards and complies with plumbing codes and safety requirements.
● Repairing heating, plumbing, steam, water, and drainage systems.
● Troubleshooting minor and complex plumbing issues and providing expert knowledge on solutions.
● Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used through work management software.
● Participating in the on-call rotation and responding to emergency situations.
● Performing preventative maintenance on University plumbing equipment and providing equipment condition assessments.
● Mentoring apprentices and training new employees.

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and DOT medical card (if applicable).
● Graduated from technical/vocational school or equivalent apprenticeship.
● New Hampshire State Plumber’s Journeyman or Master License.
● Four years of work experience in the plumbing field.
● NH Gas license and knowledge of relevant codes/ordinances.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to lift heavy loads and work in outdoor conditions.
