Responsibilities:
● Respond to service calls related to plumbing operations, repairs, and installations
● Ensure high-quality work while adhering to plumbing codes and safety standards
● Repair and maintain heating, plumbing, steam, water, and drainage systems
● Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide expert solutions
● Utilize electronic tools for troubleshooting and problems
● Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent
● Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency situations
● Perform preventative maintenance on university plumbing equipment
● Mentor and train apprentices and new employees
● Follow all safety policies and procedures in your plumbing duties

Qualifications:
● A high school diploma or equivalent
● A valid motor vehicle operator’s license and DOT medical card (if applicable)
● Technical/Vocational school graduation or equivalent apprenticeship
● A New Hampshire State Plumber’s Journeyman or Master License
● Four years of experience in the plumbing field
● An NH Gas license
● Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and ordinances
● Skills to inspect, determine malfunctions, and make repairs
● Ability to use technology and software for work duties
● Physical strength and dexterity to perform job tasks under various conditions
● Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
