Westport Properties is looking for a reliable, hands-on Plumber to join our dedicated maintenance team and take the lead on plumbing systems across our residential and commercial properties. As our go-to plumbing expert, you’ll travel between our Topeka properties to ensure all plumbing systems are safe, efficient, and in top condition for our residents. No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, reliability, and real-world expertise.
What You’ll Do:
● Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
● Clear clogged drains and sewer lines using power tools and augers
● Respond to plumbing-related work orders in a timely and professional manner
● Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of plumbing systems
● Assist with renovations involving plumbing modifications
● Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand and power tools
● Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Managers to prioritize and document work
● Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
What You’ll Get:
● Pay: $23 – $30 per hour based on experience
● Monthly bonuses based on occupancy: Up to ~$450 (normally around $200-$300)
● Tool reimbursement: $10 per paycheck ($260/year)

What We’re Looking For:
● 2+ years of plumbing experience (residential or commercial)
● Solid knowledge of water distribution, waste disposal systems, and local plumbing codes
● Skilled in the safe use of plumbing tools and equipment
● Strong physical stamina (able to life up to 75 lbs.) and willingness to work in a variety of conditions
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
● Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills
● A team-first mindset and the ability to work independently when needed
