Responsibilities:
● Interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders
● Cut and thread pipe; cut, clean, sand, and solder copper pipe
● Set up plumbing fixtures (urinals, commodes, sinks, bathtubs, showers)
● Operate the cable and jet water sewer cleaning machine
● Clean and weld PVC pipe
● Bore holes in various materials to run supply lines and drains
● Install and maintain plumbing systems, sewer systems, and fire hydrants
● Maintain sewage lift systems and existing plumbing systems
● Keep inventory on tools and parts specific to plumbing
● Assist other skilled tradesmen as needed
● Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● High school diploma/GED plus five (5) years of plumbing experience
● Must have a Journeyman Plumber license in accordance with ACA 17-38-301
● Computer program proficiency level: Novice
● Valid Driver’s License with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle Record
● 6 years of plumbing experience
● Master’s plumbing license
