Responsibilities:
● Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems such as pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters
● Conduct inspections of plumbing systems
● Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
● Collaborate with clients and contractors
● Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs
● Cut, thread, and bend pipes as needed
● Weld, solder, or join pipes
● Test plumbing systems for leaks
● Troubleshoot plumbing issues
● Adhere to plumbing codes and safety standards
● Mentor junior plumbers
● Keep accurate records of work performed
● Coordinate with suppliers
● Other duties as assigned

Health & Safety Responsibilities:
● Report unsafe acts or conditions
● Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
● Comply with company safety programs
● Participate in safety initiatives

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Plumbing apprenticeship preferred
● Proven experience as a Plumber Helper or Apprentice
● Knowledge of plumbing codes and best practices
● Proficiency in reading blueprints
● Strong problem-solving and communication skills
● Physical stamina required
● Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions:
● Physical labor involved, including possible work in confined spaces or at heights
● Exposure to various weather conditions
● Flexible hours required including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
