Responsibilities:
● Perform skilled plumbing work and demonstrate the use of the computer facility management software system
● Conduct semi-skilled HVAC work as needed
● Complete work efficiently at various healthcare network sites
● Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and related equipment
● Inspect, calibrate, adjust, and service plumbing components
● Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or equivalent experience
● Demonstrable plumbing experience
● 2+ years of experience in facilities engineering within a hospital environment
● 5+ years of relevant commercial plumbing experience
Preferred Skills:
● NYS Backflow Preventer Certification
● Medical Gas ASSE 6040 certifications
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
● Comfortable climbing, bending, and working in tight spaces using ladders
Location and Travel Requirements:
● Onsite at our Main Campus
● Periodic travel to other facilities may be required
