We are looking for a skilled Journeyman or Master Plumber to support our campus physical plant. This role is essential in ensuring our plumbing systems run smoothly and meet safety standards. Responsibilities:
● Inspect, install, maintain, modify, and repair plumbing equipment, piping, drain lines, pumps, and fixtures.
● Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues according to local plumbing codes and safety standards.
● Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications for construction or remodeling.
● Prepare product specifications and pricing quotes as needed.
● Comply with OSHA safety standards and maintain an organized and safe workplace.
● Assist the Plant team with multi-trade projects, general repairs, event setups, and emergency clean-ups.
● Perform preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
● Utilize campus energy management and computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).
● Operate heavy equipment for snow removal and making repairs, as trained and certified.
● Respond to emergencies as required as essential personnel while maintaining two-way radio communications.
● Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
● Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license.
● Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety practices.
● Experience in diagnosing and repairing various plumbing systems.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Willingness to assist in multi-trade projects and emergencies as required.
● Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
