Key Responsibilities:
● Prepare market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep
● Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance as scheduled
● Handle maintenance and repairs for community equipment, including plumbing, A/C, electrical, and carpentry
● Respond promptly to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff
● Report maintenance issues in vacant units, common areas, and equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Supervisor
● Maintain resident privacy and ensure safety in all maintenance tasks
● Deliver outstanding customer service while representing the company professionally
● Attend training and educational sessions as required
● Collaborate with vendors for services like landscaping and asphalt painting
● Adhere to state, local, and federal fair housing laws and safety/OSHA requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
● Must be at least 18 years old
● Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
● Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping residents
● Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
● Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
● Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on-call hours, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience (Preferred But Not Required):
● 1–3 years of prior maintenance experience is a plus
● HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications are preferred
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
● High school diploma or equivalent is required
