● Repair, replace, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including sockets, plugs, and fuses
● Conduct electrical repairs on various hospital equipment, such as motors and lights
● Perform plumbing repairs, including installing and fixing toilets, faucets, and waste lines
● Inspect and repair dietary equipment like steam kettles and dishwashers
● Service and repair HVAC systems while ensuring efficient operation
● Conduct routine preventive maintenance and document completed tasks
● Respond to and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
● Maintain cleanliness in mechanical spaces and work areas
● Report any unusual equipment conditions and safety hazards
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
● Previous experience in maintenance and repair preferred (2 years or vocational training)
● Some plumbing and electrical experience required
● Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● State of Idaho “HVC Journeyman” license preferred
