Responsibilities
● Work under the supervision of experienced Electricians and Repair Mechanics
● Attend classroom training while participating in on-the-job training
● Contribute to machine and process improvements
● Support environmental and recycling efforts, including possible HAZMAT certification
● Adhere to safety guidelines and attend safety training
● Aid in designing and fabricating equipment and machinery
● Document maintenance and repair activities
● Repair machinery and equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently
● Maintain a clean and organized work area
● Complete required classes with a “C” average and participate in evaluations
Qualifications
● A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
● A valid driver’s license
● Ability to read blueprints and schematics
● Strong mechanical aptitude
● Good communication skills, both written and verbal
● Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
● Desire to pursue ongoing education and training
● Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodations
