Responsibilities:
● Pull plumbing permits when required
● Supervise a plumbing apprentice working under your license
● Perform preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and renovations of plumbing systems, including sanitary waste/venting, hot/cold water distribution, compressed air, gas, and sprinkler systems
● Use hand and power-operated tools for various plumbing tasks
● Read blueprints and sketches to locate, build, repair, and maintain plumbing systems
● Maintain accurate records of work, time, and preventative maintenance through the CMMS system
● Ensure adherence to Massachusetts Plumbing and Gas Codes
● Be available on call as required
● Provide the highest level of personal protection at all times
● Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a hospital environment
● Mechanical knowledge of tools and machines used in plumbing
● Familiarity with design techniques, technical plans, and blueprints
● Strong manual dexterity and the ability to arrange tasks in a specific order
● Good communication skills

Minimum Job Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED required
● Current Massachusetts Plumbers and Gas Fitter license required
