Responsibilities:
● Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all plant electrical, distribution, and control systems
● Installation of new systems and equipment, including retrofits
● Perform preventative maintenance on all systems to ensure reliability
● Keep accurate logs and assist other areas of the plant as required
● Maintain safety and sanitation standards while performing job duties
● Assist with ordering materials and supplies as needed
Qualifications:
● Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a plant electrician, production environment preferred
● Must be Master Level Electrician for a minimum of six months
● Must have knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers and electronic equipment
● Self-motivated and able to work in a wet, cool, and sometimes unpleasant environment with minimal supervision
● Strong English reading and writing skills with good math ability
● History of dependability, particularly regarding safety and attendance
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs
● Comfortable working from ladders and in confined or elevated spaces
● Flexible to work various shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours
● Must have own tools
● Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
