As a Journeyman, you will:
● Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
● Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
● Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
● Maintain plumbing systems including pumps, valves, and fixtures.
● Respond to service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner.
● Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of work performed.
● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
● Assist in training and mentoring apprentice engineers and maintenance staff.
● Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
We are looking for candidates who have:
● A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance.
● Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
● The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
● Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
● The ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, and kneeling.
● Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and in secure environments.
