Responsibilities:
● Perform journey-level electrical duties including diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment
● Conduct lighting and battery preventive maintenance
● Manage rack moves, deployments, and decommissioning
● Repair security gates
● Test inverters on battery backups for lights
● Schedule team tasks and requisition materials
● Install and retrofit receptacle panels
● Validate, actuate, and install MTS boards
● Create electrical panel schedules
● Implement spill prevention kits for generators and substations
● Conduct heat trace annual testing and perform installation/retrofits
● Provide electrical project support
● Address willpower issues, focusing on high-priority work related to cooling in data center floors

Qualifications:
● Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the electrical trade
● Unlimited electrical or contractor’s license (required)
● Formal training from approved vocational schools in electrical fundamentals

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance
● Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl using both arms and legs
● Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
● Capability to reach with both hands and arms
● Proficient in grasping, pushing, and pulling objects
● Ability to smell, talk, hear, and see at varying distances
