Responsibilities:
● Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
● Diagnose problems and perform routine maintenance
● Make necessary repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely
● Assist in energy-efficiency upgrades
● Explain maintenance procedures to customers
● Train less experienced HVAC Mechanics in installation and service

Qualifications:
● Valid driver’s license
● Insurable driving record
● EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
● Willingness to invest in tools for HVAC service
● Ready to participate in service training seminars and classes
● Excellent customer service skills
● Ability to work from a 28′ extension ladder and a 12′ step ladder
● Knowledge of HVAC systems and preventative maintenance benefits
● Understanding of Low Voltage systems is a plus
● Knowledge of heat pumps, refrigerant cycle, and gas-fired equipment is a plus
● Safety knowledge of tools and testing devices
● Ability to test and balance HVAC systems
● Strong communication skills to explain solutions to customers and coworkers
● NATE Core Certification preferred or willing to obtain
