Responsibilities:
● Perform service of equipment, including inspecting and testing systems
● Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
● Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems
● Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing
● Conduct warranty service applications and customer education
● Lead and direct apprentice technicians on service tasks
● Record and report billing, inventory, and timecards
● Download programs and analyze chiller trend data
● Participate in training and maintain required certifications
● Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and guidelines

Qualifications:
● 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
● Accepted as Journeyman by the union
● High School Diploma or GED
● Technical school with HVAC certificate
● Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
● Ability to provide rotational emergency call support
● Required licenses and/or training cards as mandated by local law

Preferred Qualifications:
● Member of a local union or willing to join
● Commercial HVAC Industry Experience
● Previous mentoring experience for less experienced technicians
● OSHA 10 certification (provided during onboarding)
● Current first aid/CPR card
