Responsibilities:
● Assist crew leader with the installation of air conditioning units and furnaces.
● Assist with installing and replacing gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces, packaged terminal units, ductless split systems, and air purification systems.
● Explain each service provided to customers.
● Accurately document invoices, including the age and type of each system component, services completed, and costs for service.
● Discuss current and future equipment and service requirements with customers.
● Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
● Maintain a professional image at all times.
● Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED required.
● Knowledge of operational functionality of residential HVAC equipment is greatly preferred.
● Courteous communication skills with customers and the ability to follow directions from the crew leader is essential.
● Must possess appropriate trade tools.
● Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
● Ability to pass a background check and drug screen is mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to exert more than 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or more than 50 pounds constantly to move objects.
● Willingness to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, wet/humid environments, and under vibration conditions.
● Working with mechanical and chemical hazards, including fumes and poor ventilation.
● Ability to climb, talk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles.
