Responsibilities:
● Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
● Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair major appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
● Perform electrical repairs and replacements, including switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
● Conduct plumbing repairs and replacements as needed.
● Perform carpentry work, lock repairs, or replacements as required.
● Complete make-ready/punch-outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
● Assist in renovation projects to enhance the quality and appeal of our properties.
● Maintain the curb appeal of the community by addressing landscaping, exterior maintenance, and cleanliness.
● Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
● HVAC and EPA certification required.
● Must have one year of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
● Proven experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units.
● Experience in major appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.
● Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
● Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and customer service.
