Responsibilities:
● Follow safety procedures at all times while on the job site, wearing necessary protective gear
● Learn to use tools of the trade including refrigeration gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery units, and multi meters
● Communicate effectively with site supervisors, architects, contractors, and engineers
● Perform basic electrical work such as wiring thermostats or other equipment
● Diagnose problems with HVAC systems and equipment and carry out repairs
● Clean equipment before and after use
● Make detailed measurements with detection and measurement instruments
● Provide feedback and solutions for problems that arise on-site
● Complete field reports for existing equipment during job assignments
● Maintain inventory of parts necessary for repairs
● Measure and cut materials for installation using hand tools like saws and drills
● Read and understand technical manuals and instructions
● Foster positive customer relations in field service work

Qualifications:
● Associate’s degree in HVAC or enrollment in an HVAC program, or completion of vocational/technical training
● Refrigerant Handling License
● Clean driving record

Essential Skills:
● Effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms
● Strong interpersonal and decision-making abilities
● Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
● Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Prolonged sitting or standing for up to 95% of work hours
● Occasional exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and some chemical fumes

This position includes travel across the U.S., with stays of up to 4-5 weeks.
