Responsibilities:
● Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, paint, and glass
● Clean mechanical rooms and manage parts delivery
● Assist other mechanics as needed
● Carry out basic maintenance tasks under supervision
● Use hand and power tools associated with various trades
● Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and doors
● Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot building systems
● Fill out paperwork for work orders and preventive maintenance forms
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent education
● Four years of experience in general maintenance or related field
● Valid North Carolina driver’s license
● Basic knowledge of workplace safety, OSHA standards, and maintenance procedures
● Ability to use mathematics for calculations and conversions
● Familiarity with hand and power tools used in various trades
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
