Responsibilities:
● Communicate timely work issues and priorities with Engineering staff and management
● Test, inspect, and maintain emergency generators and life-safety systems
● Maintain and repair venue lighting fixtures throughout the Convention Center
● Install and manage electrical distribution systems for events and exhibits
● Ensure safety by maintaining electrical cords, cables, and related equipment
● Train the Engineering team on electrical best practices
● Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and partners
● Diagnose and repair electrical defects using suitable testing devices
● Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing and carpentry
● Operate maintenance equipment safely, such as forklifts and scissor lifts
● Plan and schedule work efficiently, maintaining cost-effective practices

Qualifications:
● High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
● Completed 5-Year Electrical Apprentice school
● Licensed Journeyman Electrician; Master Electrician License preferred
● Experience with electrical power generating equipment maintenance
● Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
● Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
● Open availability for long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
● Clear communication skills in English, both orally and in writing

Salary: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
