Responsibilities:
● Perform skilled electrical work, installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical circuits, wiring, fixtures, and appliances
● Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical wiring and equipment such as motors, generators, and switches
● Inspect and test circuits and fixtures to locate defects or issues
● Use common hand tools and electrical test equipment for diagnostics
● Supervise helpers and apprentices as needed
● Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Must possess a valid Massachusetts Journeyman’s License
● Current valid Massachusetts Class D driver’s license
● Knowledge of trade practices and safety regulations
● Ability to make oral and written reports on work performed
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
● Some agility and physical strength needed for moving around construction sites
● Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Salary:
● $1,153.28 weekly plus artisan pay, plus benefits
