Responsibilities:
● Shadow a licensed Journeyman for 8,000 hours before becoming eligible for the journeyman test
● Assist Electricians in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings
● Register for the electrical program with Skilled Trades of West Alabama
● Follow safety procedures and adhere to applicable standards and codes
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
● Basic knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems and equipment
● Familiarity with electrical codes and proper installation procedures
● Electrical experience is a plus but not required
● Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
