This is an exciting entry-level position that offers hands-on training and mentorship, allowing you to gain valuable experience in the electrical industry!
Responsibilities:
● Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for projects
● Assist with all aspects of commercial electrical installation according to plans and specifications
● Prepare work area for the installation of equipment
● Set up and operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems
● Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
● Assist in mounting and strapping conduit
● Connect wiring and equipment as per code and job specification
● Communicate the status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management
● Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed
● Drive company/personal vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws
● Operate vehicles and other equipment safely; adhere to safety protocols; report hazards and risks
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED
● 1-4 years experience in the field or related area
● Enrolled in an apprenticeship program within 1 year
● Valid driver’s license in good standing
● Preferred: Experience with Data Centers
