Responsibilities:
● Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across various projects.
● Report and troubleshoot straightforward issues with equipment as they arise, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
● Maintain data security and integrity by tracking various forms of media in accordance with Google standards.
● Disassemble equipment reaching the end-of-life and participate in repairs and maintenance.
● Execute preventative maintenance on servers, machines, and infrastructure based on defined issues with limited guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:
● Experience with assembly of mechanical/electrical systems or performing repairs on technical equipment.
● Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, hardware, or networking protocols.
● Ability to lift/move 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment and engage in physical activities like bending, kneeling, and climbing.
● Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
● Completion of the Google IT Support Professional Certificate program.
● 2 years of experience with operating systems, computer/server hardware, or networking protocols.
● Experience in a data center or network operation environment.
● Proven ability to collaborate with teams and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
