Responsibilities:
● Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and diagnostics on mission-critical HVAC systems like chillers and boilers.
● Execute complex service and maintenance with minimal supervision, often in sensitive environments like data centers.
● Interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams for accurate installations and repairs.
● Document work performed and parts used in digital work order systems.
● Maintain compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
● Coordinate with internal teams and communicate job status to customers.
● Support startup and commissioning efforts for new systems.
● Ensure tools and equipment are well cared for and follow all field protocols.
Qualifications:
● Strong understanding of HVAC theory and critical cooling infrastructure.
● Competency in leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, and performance testing.
● Proficient in working with BAS systems and system controls.
● Ability to perform independently under pressure while delivering quality results.
● Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
● High School Diploma required; technical school preferred.
● Minimum 8–10 years of commercial HVAC experience, especially in mission-critical settings.
● OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
● EPA Universal Certification required.
● Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
● Lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
● Bend, kneel, crawl, and work in tight spaces.
● Work at heights using ladders or lifts.
● Adapt to varied indoor/outdoor conditions while wearing required PPE.
