Responsibilities:
● Assist in the installation of chimney liners and wood-burning appliances following industry standards and local codes.
● Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners, checking gas connections, and replacing worn-out parts.
● Shadow experienced technicians during service calls to learn troubleshooting and repair procedures.
● Help maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
● Communicate effectively with customers about services and solutions.
● Load and transport materials and tools to and from the work site.
● Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in chimney repairs and installations.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Legally eligible to work in the United States.
● Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
● Physical ability to lift equipment and work in various environments.
● Interest in learning about chimney installation techniques and safety practices.
● Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Prior experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical maintenance.
● Customer service experience.
● Problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
