Responsibilities:
● Assist with assembly and removal of concrete forms for installation
● Help build and install window frames, doors, staircases, and drywall
● Ensure the layout of flooring, roofing, and drywall is leveled
● Read blueprints and sketches to understand project requirements
● Measure and cut materials accurately for construction
● Handle and distribute building materials and tools
● Participate in job shadowing to gain project knowledge
● Promote a safe work environment and manage onsite hazards
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED
● Valid Driver’s License required
● Ability to follow safety practices in alignment with Hensel Phelps guidelines
● Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
● Must communicate effectively with co-workers and stakeholders
● Reliable and punctual with dependable transportation
● Good standing with the Carpenter’s local union hall
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in construction layout and blueprint reading
● OSHA 10 Certification
● CPR & First Aid Certification
