Responsibilities:
● Promote safety by prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your co-workers in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
● Familiarize yourself with tools and equipment of the Electrician’s trade, including safe operation and storage practices.
● Assist in the repair and maintenance of electronic equipment, including calibration and testing of various electrical systems.
● Help string overhead and underground lines and cables, install conduit and wire.
● Learn to read and produce simple electrical sketches while working with blueprints and schematics to determine effective installation procedures.
● Perform basic troubleshooting to diagnose and fix electrical issues and strive to improve equipment reliability.
● Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Willingness to learn with a positive attitude and effective communication skills.
● Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and limited overtime as needed.
● Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical tools and their maintenance.
● High standards of integrity and decision-making.
