Responsibilities:
● Plan and perform a variety of challenging plumbing tasks
● Follow established PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) procedures
● Drill holes in walls and floors for pipe installation
● Install pipe hangers and insulate plumbing
● Disconnect and connect electrical leads on hot water tanks and stills
● Work within procedures for Asbestos, PCB guidelines
● Perform planned layout work and estimate materials and costs
● Install and repair plumbing fixtures, including showers, tanks, and pumps
● Maintain air and ground water sprinkler systems
● Conduct pool and spa maintenance, as well as DI and RO laboratory systems
● Test and maintain backflow preventers

Qualifications:
● Advanced knowledge of plumbing, equivalent to completed apprentice training
● Minimum of two years of practical experience
● Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
● Own hand tools, including pipe, sink, crescent wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, vice grips, etc.
● Valid NSPF CPO certification is required
● Familiarity with DI and RO lab water systems
● Strong visual and cognitive skills for interpreting diagrams and troubleshooting

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand for 65% – 90% of the shift and frequently bend, stoop, and twist
● Full range of arm movement and dexterity for various tasks
● Able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds
● Tolerance for extreme heat and occasional exposure to chemicals
