Job Responsibilities:
● Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
● Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters
● Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to project specifications and industry standards
● Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine the placement of outlets, fixtures, and wiring
● Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on local building codes and regulations, ensuring all electrical work meets or exceeds required standards
● Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with clients professionally, addressing inquiries, explaining system operations, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction
● Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical vocational training program is preferred
● Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components
● Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to electrical installations
● Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
● Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical installation and repair
● Strong Work Ethic – Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions from senior technicians
● Good Communication Skills – Ability to interact with team members and customers in a professional manner
● Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record preferred for future career advancement opportunities
