Responsibilities:
● Participate in technical and classroom instruction
● Demonstrate competency in preventative maintenance and various mechanical systems
● Assist experienced employees in complex repairs using hand and power tools
● Perform preventative maintenance inspections and necessary repairs
● Complete all assigned duties as specified by the supervisor
Qualifications:
● Be at least 18 years old
● Have, or be able to acquire, a Class “B” CDL with passenger endorsement within 60 days
● Meet one of the following criteria:
● Hold a 2-year degree in a related field
● Have a military MOS in a related field
● Have one year of technical school training + one year of related experience
● Have 6 months of UTA experience (TVT/Helper level)
● Have the required tools for the job
● Pass an aptitude and standardized test
Pay Rate:
$26.52 – $30.52 per hour, plus a shift differential of $1.00 to $1.50 based on your schedule. This position includes a four-year wage progression, with regular increases leading to a Journeyist classification and wage of $36.10 per hour after graduation from the program.
