Responsibilities:
● Cut sheet metal using power saws, shears, plasma cutter, and CNC machines
● Set up metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, plasma torch, brakes, and shears
● Double-check design specifications before starting cutting work
● Fabricate and construct metal components
● Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the shop
● Use company vehicles for shuttle and delivery tasks as needed
Qualifications:
● Ability to analyze blueprints
● Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE, and clean work area maintenance
● Strong computer, dexterity, and math skills
● High attention to detail

Working Conditions:

● Work takes place in the company’s sheet metal shop with regular interruptions.
● Department meetings and training may occur.
Physical Demands:
● Capable of bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing ladders.
● Ability to read various materials, including fine print.
● Must be able to hear conversations and operate tools effectively.
● Able to lift, push, or carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
