Responsibilities:
● Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local plumbing codes
● Study specifications, building plans, and shop drawings to determine the necessary tools, equipment, and appropriate sequence for installation
● Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and provide efficient solutions
● Ensure all plumbing installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations
● Work with a team of plumbers and other tradesmen to complete projects on time and within budget
● Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning
● Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to extend their lifespan and improve performance
● Identify potential delays or conflicts and proactively resolve any issues
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber, with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and techniques
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
● OSHA certification preferred
● Strong knowledge of pipefitting systems, codes, and installation practices
● Valid Journeyman Plumber license (Texas or applicable state) required
● Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams
● Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site
● Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required
