Responsibilities:
● Partner with a licensed journeyman electrician for on-the-job training (OJT) to become an electrician.
● Assist in performing electrical installations for multifamily and commercial projects.
● Learn and take part in all aspects of large-scale projects, from distribution to rough-in, trim, and deck work.
● Participate in an official apprenticeship program and attend required classes.
Qualifications:
● Motivated individuals eager to learn the electrical trade.
● High school diploma or GED required; must have reliable transportation.
● Must register, enroll, and participate in an electrical apprenticeship program (and maintain good standing until completion).
● Able to physically perform essential job functions.
● Willingness to learn electrical codes and construction safety requirements.
