Responsibilities:
● Assist with safe planning and completing Main Panel Upgrades (MPU)
● Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
● Ensure all work is of good craftsmanship and compliant with NEC and local codes
● Document projects by taking photos and completing work orders
● Maintain company vehicle stocked with proper tools and equipment
● Adhere to company policies and good housekeeping practices
● Identify gaps in safety standards and provide recommendations
● Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ, and Utility requirements
● Ensure job sites are left clean
● Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Must possess or obtain an Apprentice License within the state of employment, if applicable
● Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience preferred
● High school graduate or GED
● Working knowledge of replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
● Ability to read and interpret single line drawings
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
● Effective time management skills
● Proficient with hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade
● Clean driving record and valid state driver’s license
● Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
Physical Demands and Abilities:
● Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift heavy objects (50+ lbs)
● Good hand-eye coordination and quick reflexes
● Capability to maintain balance and perform physical activities for long periods
