As a Data Center Technician Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians to develop your skills.

Your key duties will include:
● Operate, monitor, and maintain various facility systems, including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Life Safety, and Building Monitoring and Control.
● Assist in ensuring operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the data center systems.
● Work with contractors for system expansions and upgrades.
● Collaborate with technicians to track and complete maintenance schedules.
● Help maximize operational efficiency while analyzing conditions and suggesting improvements.
● Support the management of electrical and mechanical loading capacities.
● Conduct data trending and write technical procedures.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization in the data center environment.

We are looking for candidates who possess:
● Basic technical knowledge of data center operations, including familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
● Awareness of compliance issues and safety regulations.
● Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
● High school diploma or GED required; an Associate of Science in Technology is preferred.

You should be physically capable of:
● Walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
● Working in various temperatures and potentially noisy environments.
● Using computer systems for extended periods.
