Responsibilities:
● Assist electricians with diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and installing electrical systems.
● Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
● Utilize various tools to effectively complete electrical tasks.
● Manage electrical parts orders and maintain accurate work logs.
● Help troubleshoot malfunctions, repair equipment, and replace defective parts.
● Collaborate with team members to solve problems.
● Seek opportunities to learn new skills and expand your electrical knowledge.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED equivalent.
● Currently enrolled in a Journeyman Electrician program.
● Basic understanding of electrical work and terminology.
● Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
● Capability to utilize tools and perform technical tasks.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
● Participation in a drug and alcohol program is required (safety-sensitive position).
Bonus Points:
● Previous experience assisting electricians or in a related field.
● Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
● Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
